himachal pradesh: An interesting and inspiring case has come to light from the tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh. People living in these areas instead of resorting to police or court regarding any dispute, go to the gods and goddesses and resolve their disputes there.
The people here have deep faith in the justice of the Gods, whether the matter is small or big, they place all their problems in the court of the Gods and get solutions. This tradition is an example for those areas of the country which are facing the problem of increasing crime.
These tribal areas include Dodra Kwar of Shimla, villages of Chamba-Pangi, areas of Lahaul-Spiti and remote areas of Kinnaur. There is also a feeling of mutual brotherhood among the people here, and they do not approach the police or court to resolve differences.
This tradition has been going on here for decades, where people resolve all their disputes by taking refuge in the Gods and Goddesses.
