Foreign assistance is 'worrying', a discount application for development and humanitarian work

US President Donald Trump has recently said in an executive order to re -evaluate all types of foreign assistance, so that it can be shaped according to the priority of the new foreign policy.

The immediate impact of this order and its incidence is not currently clear, but US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also issued an order, which has banned any kind of assistance fund.

It has been clearly stated in the direction of the Foreign Ministry that the funds for the current and pre -published programs will be postponed until it is fully reviewed.

In this context, military assistance and emergency food assistance for Israel and Egypt are currently exempted from this order.

Anxiety of order to stop assistance

A spokesman for the UN general secretary on Monday issued a statement on his behalf, where the UN chief expressed concern over the issue of providing foreign aid.

He called for additional concessions, so that efforts and development activities could continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the world’s most vulnerable communities. According to him, the lives and livelihoods of people living in difficult situations depend on this support.

The United Nations Chief President expects to meet and conversation with Trump’s administration, especially with the intention of supporting ordinary citizens who are fought against the challenges in the developing world.

“America is one of the largest support agencies and creatively preparing the strategic route together.”

The US government is in the top role from the point of view of the global support fund supply. In 2023, $ 72 billion was provided. In 2021, the United States contributed to more than 5 percent contribution to the UN’s humanitarian assistance.
