At the beginning of the visit to India, the Speaker of the United Nations General Assembly arrived at the UN office in New Delhi on Wednesday, February 7.
Here, he met the heads of various UN agencies and received information about the country’s UN activities.
He later left for Gautama Buddha Nagar to take stock of a health center run by the United Nations Environment Program (UNDP).
The president of the General Assembly also discussed important issues in the country’s Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar.
The purpose of visiting the Speaker of the General Assembly is to increase multilateral cooperation with India on important global issues, including international peace and protection and future issues related to the future.
