Water -exam training – strengthening from Bharti
Bharati, a village of Bamra, is a common family housewife in the Babina Development Block in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. There was a serious shortage of water in Bundelkhand, especially in the summer, the situation became more difficult.
Bharti says that before that there was a daily fight to bring water to his village. When the Water Life Mission came into effect, people took it with great enthusiasm.
Bharti did a special test on the use of a field-testing kit for the quality of water quality and started working regularly for water. She is making women skilled in other villages by teaching women’s technology techniques.
Now drinking water is reaching every house in the village of Bamra and has been relieved of the quarrel over the water.
Due to the decrease in water admission time, this change has brought a major change in the lives of women, especially women. Now women are taking time for themselves and taking part in the waterlife mission and making changes to their own lives.
Water Clean -Cleaning Police – Renina Ahirwar
A total of 356 families live in the village of Aimilia in the Babina Development Block in Jhansi district. After the implementation of the Water Life Mission, the water begins to reach every house from the tap. However, the problem of waterlogging in the village becomes serious.
The drain, the gray water (dirty water) begins to remain full. Water begins to freeze in every way and in public. To solve this problem ‘UN Project Services Office’ – UNOPS By the initiative of the village, the women of the village started the United States.
Reena Ahirwar, who commanded the campaign, who not only inspired women, did not drink water to save, but also played an important role in freeing the village roads and roads from waterlogging.
With the help of UNOPS, two litch peats were built in the village, which helped to operate gray water. Seeing its success, Rina and Panchayat had increased the demand for Pete and Litch Peat with the whole village and held a meeting to make the people aware and proceeded the campaign through the participation of the people.
The results of this effort were to make 5 holes in the Panchayat village, which could solve the problem of waterlogging. The paths and public places are now completely free from waterlogging in the village of Aimilia.
This promotion of Reena Ahirwar has now become an example for the villages around.
Water test recognized Ramkumari
Ramkumari of Imilaya village in Babina block of Jhansi district was once a common rural woman. There was no opportunity for education, dreams remain incomplete. However, the water life mission has changed the direction of his life.
Under this promotion, each house was trained to provide clean and safe water and protect them from water -stricken diseases, five women in the village were trained to test water. Rampyario was also part of this team.
However, it was not easy to fulfill this responsibility. Initially people used to laugh and joke – “What will it do?”
However, Ramkumari worked hard and started his work. After the water examination, he updated his investigation report on the official portal, attended the Panchayat meeting and advised his quality of water. The special thing is that now the panchayat does not listen to their suggestions, applying them.
They get 20 rupees for each water test, which causes their income to increase. However, they have a real pride that due to their hard work, the diseases caused by water in the village are now ending. Now the pure water has reached every house.

New path from baby spirits
Bajana Village, located in the Bundelkhand region of Jhansi district, is located about 21 km west of the district headquarters. This village is full of natural beauty. However, people used to trouble the water here. The village population is settled in various hamlets, and the shrines spread in the radius of five kilometers. Every day there was a long journey for water to decide on people.
29 -year -old children, residents of this village, have been in disability since birth. When the waterlife mission started in the village, the child also joined the campaign and he promised to overcome the water problem.
In 2019, he swore that he would not get married until water reached every house in the whole village. He became part of the Water Investigation Committee and went to every area of the village with full enthusiasm and went to every house to ensure that no family was deprived of safe drinking water anywhere.
Baby, together with the UNOPS team, explained to the house home to stop the waste of water and monitor the quality of water through water examination. About getting bacteria in the water, immediately aware of the villagers, the solutions were also suggested.
Baby says, “The girls in our village were deprived of education due to lack of water. I want every girl in the village to educate and fulfill their dreams.”
Solution to supply pure water in each home – Sheila Parah
The women of Sijwaha village of Babina block in Jhansi district have been fighting for years with water shortage. Water Life Mission came in 2019 as a new hope for him.
Sheila took charge of the promotion in the village. The rock has decided that now every road in the village, clean, safe and quality water will reach every house. He learned the water test technology with UNOPS and started regular water testing every six months.
He not only tests the purity of the water, but also explains the people why clean water is necessary and how to avoid water -borne diseases.
Although in the beginning it was a bit difficult to explain to humans, the hard work of the rock has stopped. Many women in the village joined them and it became a strong party to see it. Now rock and their colleagues are working not only on the quality of water but also in the water conservation.
He completed the task of repairing the ponds with the panchayat, strictly so that the water sources can be sustained and there is no problem in the village in the future.
Sheila says, “The quality of water is not only needed, everyone is right. The change is possible when women come forward.”
