The top judicial agency of the United Nations on Monday decided to fall in 5 votes and opposed two votes that admission under the genocide Agreement could not be taken forward in the hearing of the case.
The court also refused to implement any temporary sanctions sought by Sudan.
At the same time, the court has removed the case against 9 votes compared to 9 votes from its “general list”.
The decision said, “Since the court has reached the decision that it does not have the clear jurisdiction, it cannot give any opinion on the qualities of Sudan’s complaint.”
Allegation
Sudan has been accused of supporting the United Arab Emirates for supporting the paramilitary forces -Quick Support Force (RSF).
Sudan said that this support was the equivalent of connection to the genocide against the Gar-Arabian spicy community in West Darfur.
Thousands of people have died since April 2021 in the ongoing war between the RSF and the Sudanese army.
About one crore 2 27 million people have been displaced.
The international court has acknowledged that they are not able to hear the matter, but it has also made it clear that the issue of genocide is still bound by their obligations.
