The Delhi Police will monitor the activities of Haryana-based criminals, whether they are incarcerated or operating their gangs from the national capital. This data will be shared with Haryana authorities to ensure a smooth and secure election process. The Haryana Assembly elections, covering 90 seats, are scheduled for October 5, with results to be announced on October 8.

Officials revealed that the Delhi Police will also track communications of these criminals and provide this information to the Haryana Police for a hassle-free election. With numerous senior political leaders from Delhi planning rallies in Haryana, the intelligence shared by Delhi will be crucial for Haryana’s law enforcement.

In preparation for the elections, the Haryana Police have significantly enhanced security measures. They have increased vigilance at inter-state borders, deployed flying squads, and activated surveillance teams. Additionally, the police are closely monitoring and intercepting drugs and illegal weapons being smuggled into the state.
