IAEA Chief Rafael Gossi expressed this purpose while talking to journalists in Austria on Wednesday.
About two weeks ago, Israel launched aircraft and missile attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear sites. Last week, the United States suddenly bombed three uranium -rich centers in Iran.
US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel on social media on Monday night, which is currently in a subtle situation, but it also applies.
However, it is not yet clear how much damage to Iran’s rich uranium reserves in the American invasion.
‘Warning Steps’
Iran, after the initial attack, told the IAEA that they had taken “special measures” to protect their nuclear materials and equipment.
The IAEA chief told reporters that he had received a letter from the Iranian Foreign Minister, saying that necessary measures were taken on protection.
Rafael Gossesi said, “He (Iran’s Foreign Minister) did not say what these measures mean, but the mark was clear, they mean it. So we can assume that the material is there.”
To confirm and evaluate the situation, “we have to go back there.”
Visiting is very important
According to the report, on Wednesday, the Iranian Parliament passed a bill to suspend cooperation with IAEA, which is now not approved by the government’s executive branch.
The IAEA chief said that he wrote a letter to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachchi requesting a meeting with the IAE on Tuesday, so that ways to continue inspection could be discussed.
He emphasized, “International community cannot take risk to prevent the inspection system.”
The IAEA chief further asked what would Iran be planning if Iran was planning to withdraw from the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Agreement (NPT).
This agreement is an important global agreement to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.
He said, “If it happened it would be very unfortunate. I hope it will not happen. I don’t think it will benefit anyone, Iran will not be Iran at first … it will cause many problems to be disconnected.”
