Gaza: While waiting for food, about 1,400 Palestinians died

In a press release on Friday, the United Nations Human Rights Office said that between July 7 and 8, in Gaza, Zikim, Southern region Khan Younis and Ghazan regions and GHF regions, food coffee routes were killed, and at least 68 people were notified.

Overall, from May 2 May, at least 5,700 Palestinians have died in search of food. Of these, 5 people were killed around the GFF site and 5 were killed on the food coffee route.

The Human Rights Office points out that most of the killings were made by the Israeli army. Although the Human Rights Office is also aware of the presence of other armed elements in the same region, there is no information that indicates the involvement of those armed elements in killing hundreds of people.

The OHCR says, “The (office) has no idea that these Palestinians were directly involved in war activities or are making threats to Israeli security forces or other people.

Follow international law

The United Nations Human Rights Office emphasized that by deliberately invading ordinary people who did not directly involved war activities, deprived the items needed for life, using starvation as a weapon of war, made the common people hunting, making it hunting.

“If this civilian population is part of a systematic or extensive attack, they may also be a crime against humanity.”

The Human Rights Office, each of them, demanded an immediate and independent investigation and responsible persons should be held accountable. At the same time, instant measures have been taken not to reappear these national events.

The procedure by wind is not effective

Meanwhile, the UN Relief and Working Agency (UNRWA) has emphasized the need to open a roadway to provide large -scale assistance to the Gaza Valley for Palestinian refugees.

Philip Lazarini Lazari, the UN agency’s greatness, said on social media, “Trucks are at least 100 times more expensive with the aircraft. Trucks can carry double aid materials than aircraft.”

He emphasized, “If there is a political desire to allow assistance to help with the Air route – which is extremely expensive, inadequate and disabled, the same political will should be seen to open the road.”

Philip Lazarini said that UNRWA’s 6,7 trucks, full of assistance materials, were trapped outside Gaza and were waiting for permission from Israel.

During the ceasefire earlier this year, UNRWA and other UN agencies were able to reach 500 to 600 trucks aid materials every day between Gaza.

The UNRW’s chief said of the success in the support mission, “Aid elements reached the entire population of Gaza with protection and respect. This, it was successful to avoid the situation of deep starvation without any chaos of the components.”

“Let’s do whatever we do and come, come on, do your job.”
