NDA constituents have no problem

The constituent parties of the Bharatiya Janata Party have no problem with any agenda of the central government. Whether it is the agenda of ‘one country, one election’ or the uniform civil code. Even the allies of the BJP will support the bill to amend the Waqf Board. Informed sources say that after showing the initial attitude, everyone’s attitude has softened. Lok Janshakti Party leader and Union Minister Chirag Paswan will no longer create obstacles in any agenda. He has been given a message from the BJP. The message has been given to him in two ways. First, the news came that three out of five MPs of his party are in touch with the BJP. His party has split earlier as well. In the last Lok Sabha, five out of six MPs had separated. This time it was being said that except Chirag and his brother-in-law Arun Bharti, the other three will go to the BJP.

Somehow this matter was resolved and in the meantime Bihar State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal went to Chirag’s uncle and former Union Minister Pashupati Paras’ house and met him. After that Pashupati Paras came to Delhi and met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It is worth noting that Chirag is at loggerheads with his uncle. So, by giving a signal to appease him, BJP gave a message to Chirag. Similarly, BJP’s big ally in Bihar is Janata Dal U, which is already on BJP’s line. Party’s former national president and Union Minister Lallan Singh stood up in Parliament and supported the Waqf Board Bill. The resignation of national spokesperson KC Tyagi, who has an independent line different from the party line, is also an indication that JDU now has nothing to do apart from BJP. TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu’s concern is limited to getting financial help from the Center and dealing with Jagan Mohan.

That is why it is being said that BJP will implement all its agendas very easily. Work has started on three agendas simultaneously. Census is going to start very soon. Although it is not yet decided whether a column for caste will be kept in it or not, but it is certain that the work of delimitation will start along with the census. After delimitation, the central government will implement the Women’s Reservation Bill. And with this, the implementation of the suggestions given by the Ramnath Kovind Committee for ‘one country, one election’ will begin. In Andhra Pradesh, assembly elections are held along with the Lok Sabha elections.

Therefore, Chandrababu Naidu has no problem and Nitish Kumar’s party has already agreed to ‘one country, one election’. JDU had also supported it in front of Ramnath Kovind Committee. The second agenda of the central government is the Wakf Board Bill, which is being considered in the Joint Parliamentary Committee and no ally party has raised any question there. So, with some amendments, it will also be passed in the next session. As far as the Uniform Civil Code is concerned, its timing has to be decided by the central government. BJP will decide its timing according to maximum political benefit.
