New Delhi. BJP leader and Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu stands by his statement calling Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a terrorist. He has refused to apologize and has said that he will stand in Parliament and say that the Gandhi family burnt Punjab. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against Ravneet Singh Bittu for his comment on Rahul. An official of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee had complained about this. A case has been registered against Bittu under several sections of the Indian Penal Code for spreading false information or rumors, trying to incite riots and spreading hatred on the basis of religion and caste.
Earlier, Congress leaders in Delhi had lodged a complaint against Bittu and some other leaders in Tughlaq Road police station. However, after the case was registered, Union Minister Bittu said – I will not apologize for my statement, but will also say in Parliament that the Gandhi family burnt Punjab. We have lost many of our generations in Punjab. It is worth noting that Bittu had said on September 15 that Rahul Gandhi is the number one terrorist of the country. The person who catches him should be rewarded, because he is the biggest enemy of the country.
