New Delhi. There is worrying news amid live streaming of hearings and increasing use of technology in the proceedings of the Supreme Court. On Friday, September 20, the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court has been hacked. The Supreme Court’s YouTube channel was showing a video promoting the US-based cryptocurrency XRP, which has been developed by Ripple Labs. A senior Supreme Court official later said – We are not sure about what exactly happened. But it seems that the channel has been tampered with. He said that the problem in the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court was discovered on Friday morning and the Supreme Court’s IT team has sought help from the National Informatics Center, NIC to fix it.
