Hyderabad. After the allegations made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, now the Tirupati temple management has also confirmed that animal fat has been found in the sample of ghee used to make Laddu Prasadam. However, now the temple management has claimed that the ghee is pure. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, TTD, which manages Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, said that the Prasadam is now completely pure and pure. We are committed to keep it pure in future as well.
Earlier, TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao had admitted that animal fat was used in the ghee used to make laddus. He told in a press conference that four lab reports of samples of the ghee used to make laddus have confirmed this. Rao said that the temple management did not have its own lab and the ghee supplier AR Dairy Foods took advantage of this.
On Saturday, officials of the Food Safety Department of the Central and State Governments visited the factory of AR Dairy Foods in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu for inspection. Meanwhile, former President Ramnath Kovind said in Varanasi on Saturday – Last night some of my colleagues went to Baba Vishwanath Dham. When I was given Baba’s Prasadam at night, I remembered the Tirumala incident. I was a little disturbed. Such cheap adulteration can happen in every pilgrimage site. According to Hindu religion, this is a big sin. This should be investigated properly.
