Hyderabad. A special investigation team, SIT, was formed on Sunday to investigate the case of adulteration of animal fat in the laddu prasadam of the famous Tirupati temple of Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the SIT will submit a report to the government. Action will be taken on this basis, so that such things do not happen again. Regarding this incident, the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said – We should not remain silent when Hindu temples are desecrated. If this had happened in mosques or churches, the country would have been angry.
Pawan Kalyan started 11 days of Prayashchit Deeksha from Sunday, September 22. During this time he will fast. Pawan said- I regret why I could not detect the adulteration earlier. I am feeling sad. I will do penance for this. Pawan Kalyan wrote on social media platform X- Tirumala Laddu Prasadam, which is considered sacred, has been desecrated due to the corrupt policies of Jagan Reddy’s government. Not being able to recognize this sin in the beginning is a blot on the Hindu community.
Meanwhile, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to Prime Minister Modi requesting him to seek a response from Naidu on the Prasadam controversy. Reddy has written – CM Chandrababu Naidu is trying to tarnish the sanctity, integrity and reputation of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He has written that Chandrababu Naidu is an incurable and habitual liar and he has stooped to such an extent that he has hurt the faith of crores of people only for political purposes.
On the other hand, after several days of controversy, a case has been registered against former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and others. They have been accused of damaging the sanctity of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple and hurting Hindu religious sentiments after allegations of adulteration in the ghee used in the famous Tirupati Laddu Prasadam. A lawyer has filed this complaint at Saidabad Police Station in Hyderabad.
