Kedarnath Yatra: This time nature has wreaked havoc in Kedarnath Dham during the monsoon season. Baba Kedar’s temple is situated amidst nature, visiting it has become a dream of every devotee. After the disaster of 2013, the number of devotees has increased in Kedarnath. Talking about this season, many incidents like landslides and cloudbursts have been seen on the walking route. Due to which, keeping in view the safety, the Kedarnath walking journey was stopped many times. But in view of the departure of monsoon, the journey was started again.

The enthusiasm of the devotees is at its peak
For the first time after almost a month of heavy rainfall, the number of visitors to Kedarnath in a day was more than seven thousand. On Sunday, 22 September, 7102 devotees visited Baba Kedar in the Dham. Since the opening of the doors, more than 11 lakh 60 thousand devotees have visited the Dham so far. Sonprayag Sector Magistrate Rakesh Singh said that after the opening of the pedestrian route on Sunday, a total of 18388 pilgrims left for Kedarnath in the whole day.
