Spain has included legendary tennis player Rafael Nadal, who is struggling with fitness, in its team for the Davis Cup. 38-year-old Rafael Nadal has been included in the Spanish team along with Carlos Alcaraz, Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta and Marcel Granollers for this tennis tournament to be held in November. David Ferrer will be the coach of the team. He has not participated in any competition after the Paris Olympic Games.
After the Olympics, Nadal had to withdraw from the US Open and Laver Cup due to fitness concerns. He has won 24 Grand Slam titles. Eight countries have announced their teams for the Davis Cup. The Davis Cup quarter-finals will be held from November 19 to 21. The semi-finals will be played on November 22 and 23 and the final on November 24. Host Spain will face the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.
