Iran’s president took office in July. He said that he is ready to talk with the concerned parties on the Iran nuclear deal issue.
At the same time, regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, President Pezeshkian said, “The world has seen the atrocities of Israel.” In the last 11 months, 41,000 innocent people, most of them women and children, have been brutally killed.
He said Israel has also killed Iranian scientists, diplomats and guests. Iran has increased its support for liberation movements for the victims of colonialism and the crimes of the Israeli regime.
“We stand for people around the world. We blocked the streets in anger against Israeli atrocities. “We condemn Israeli crimes against humanity.”
Massoud Majeshkian called on the international community to immediately end the violence in Gaza and implement a permanent ceasefire.
Condemning Israel’s brutality in Lebanon, he issued a warning that it must stop before it spreads throughout the region and the world.
Iran’s president said he had campaigned for reforms in the country and outreach to the world, and it was an honor for him to win the trust of Iranian citizens.
Massoud Pezeshkian emphasized that in the current, globalized world, no country can achieve security for itself by weakening the security of others. According to him, new approaches need to be adopted in creating opportunities and cooperation to meet global challenges.
Referring to the historic 2015 nuclear deal, he said it was given powers in exchange for Iran’s maximum nuclear inspection regime and the lifting of sanctions.
But former US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the deal, showing a threatening approach. According to him, imposing unilateral sanctions targets innocent people and damages Iran’s economy.
Massoud Pezeshkian said he is ready to communicate and negotiate with the parties involved in the nuclear deal. By understanding Iran’s security concerns, we can enter a new phase of cooperation to address mutual challenges.
