Chandigarh. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Haryana on Thursday for election campaign and put Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja, who were angry with each other, on one stage. Shailaja was angry for the last few days and was not campaigning for Congress. His resentment was so much that BJP leader Manohar Lal Khattar had invited him to join BJP. However, on Thursday, Rahul ended his anger and made him speech from a stage. Now Shailja will campaign in the entire state.
However, Rahul held rallies in Assandh and Barwala on Thursday. Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of soldiers, farmers and wrestlers in his rallies. Rahul said in Assandh that BJP destroyed athletes and saved those who sexually harassed women wrestlers. In Barwala, he said – By bringing Agniveer Scheme, pension and martyr status were taken away from the soldiers. Built Ram temple but did not allow tribals to enter.
Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi said- I have seen Modi ji’s face. Earlier the chest used to be 56 inches. Now it is said that I am non-biological, I have a direct relationship with God. He is scared and that is why he is saying the wrong thing. Claiming a clean sweep in Haryana, Rahul said that he will put money directly into the pockets of the people of Haryana. Raising the issue of Agniveer, Rahul Gandhi said – Agniveer will neither get pension nor will he get the status of martyr. Now think what will happen to India. Its name is just Agniveer, its true meaning is that the soldiers’ pension and martyr status have been taken away.
Raising the issue of farmers, Rahul said- Here farmers are being deprived of their rights. You get the right price for your crops. This money is going into someone’s pocket. This is only going into the pockets of Adani and Ambani. I do not want the children of Haryana to cry. I don’t want such a Haryana, I will not let this happen. He said- First of all we have to put money in the pockets of poor people. I had promised in the Lok Sabha, I had promised that one lakh rupees will be deposited in the bank account of every poor family within a year. I will not leave this, not today or tomorrow. I will withdraw as much money as they have given to Ambani and Adani and give it to the farmers and the poor.
