Modi-Shah do not want Sangh!

Yes, what BJP President JP Nadda said during the Lok Sabha elections is true as it is that the party no longer needs the RSS. I am citing this now because these days there is a needless flood of narrative on social media that some opponent of Modi is going to become the President of BJP. To please the Sangh, Modi-Shah are praising it. Someone like the Sangh will become the president. So, sometimes Sanjay Joshi’s noise and sometimes Vasundhara Raje’s noise. Like the Sangh will make Narendra Modi retire or Modi will invite Sanjay Joshi for lunch. It’s all nonsense and completely false. Note that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have retired RSS from BJP. BJP President will be whatever Narendra Modi decides and it is possible that Amit Shah may have played a role in this. Even if BJP’s victory in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Maharashtra is clean.

The question is then how the names of Devendra Fadnavis, Sanjay Joshi, Vasundhara Raje etc. have been or are being used on social media? Is this a Modi-Shah inspired noise? So that RSS remains defensive in front of Narendra Modi? Modi can tell his messengers like Suresh Soni or BL Santosh, Arun Kumar etc. that what is the need for us to reveal our names. When the names of his opponents are being run by the Sangh, then just show it by making him your president in BJP!

Yes, such a test of strength will take place in December. Then Narendra Modi will quietly make Ram Madhav the BJP president to tease someone close to him or the Sangh. There are one or two more names, which would not be appropriate to discuss at the moment. Amit Shah also has a problem. They are also trying to make their special person the president amidst the direct deadlock between Narendra Modi and the Sangh. They can also take advantage of the opportunity and get consensus on their favourites.

So the names and narratives trending on social media have the angle of Modi-Shah’s media management. The real thing is that Modi does not need the Sangh. Note the fact that in the elections of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Maharashtra, the race of office bearers of RSS and its affiliated organizations is zero. Even though coordination meetings are being held between the Organization Minister and the Sangh side Arun Kumar, BL Santosh etc., the Sangh officials are angry, disappointed and divided on caste lines. The mathematics of Rajput and Brahmin votes is important in Jammu region, but their old BJP votes are also divided from each other at this time.

According to the reality of abolition of Article 370 in Jammu region, Modi and Shah should be in power but Amit Shah has to sweat. Despite Narendra Modi fielding Ram Madhav, who is at loggerheads with Amit Shah, in Srinagar, Amit Shah is working hard to win the elections in Jammu region. While his arch rival Yogi Adityanath has also been fielded in Jammu for Rajput votes, Rajnath Singh is also campaigning. Nitin Gadkari is touring the same for Brahmin votes. But amid all this, the officials of the Sangh organizations are being described as spectators or indifferent.

In that respect, the state of Jammu and Kashmir is a case study state of the lack of communication between Modi-Shah versus the Union. In a way, Modi and Shah made a campaign by teasing the Sangh. Narendra Modi, through Ram Madhav, implemented the strategy of cutting votes by fielding the small people of Kashmir Valley in the elections, while Amit Shah, according to his own calculations, laid the electoral chessboard with Jamaat, Engineer Rashid, Bukhari etc. In the Jammu region, he took the help of his own candidates and turncoats.

Therefore, in these assembly elections, BJP President JP Nadda’s statement that BJP no longer needs RSS is absolutely true. This can be estimated in Haryana also. In Haryana, Narendra Modi has done everything as entrusted by his Manohar Lal Khattar. Khattar is a leader and as an administrator, Dharmendra Pradhan is the Union Minister, just like G Kishan Reddy is in Jammu and Kashmir. Amit Shah is staying away from Haryana because he knows what the result is going to be there. After these two states, a similar situation is going to happen in the election preparations of Jharkhand and Maharashtra. BJP does not need the Sangh in both the states. Jharkhand elections are entirely on the strength of Amit Shah’s Himanta Biswa and Narendra Modi’s Babulal Marandi. In Maharashtra, Modi and Shah have everything in their hands through their Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnav.

By the way, if it happens that BJP government is formed in Jammu and Kashmir through manipulation, then by making Ram Madhav the party president, Modi will do wonders that both the Sangh and Amit Shah will keep watching. If Dharmendra Pradhan shows such amazing feat in Haryana, then the lottery for the post of President can also open for him. Narendra Modi is now trying to bypass the Sangh and prepare the next generation in the BJP, so that if his path till 2029 is clear then everything is favorable for Amit Shah.

However, one should not get too carried away with these thoughts because times are changing rapidly. BJP is going to face so many setbacks in the elections that no one will understand whether it is Modi’s BJP or Sangh’s BJP or Rambharose’s BJP!
