India-Bangladesh Test: India-Bangladesh second day's game canceled due to rain....

India-Bangladesh Test: The play of the second day of the ongoing second Test match between India and Bangladesh has been canceled due to rain. It was raining intermittently in Kanpur since Saturday morning, due to which the umpires, after talking to the ground staff, decided to cancel the day’s play. There is also a 59% chance of rain on Sunday, September 29, which may cause further disruption to the match.

Even on the first day of the match on Friday, 27 September, stumps were called early due to rain, and only 35 overs could be played. Normally 90 overs are bowled in a day. By the end of the day’s play, Bangladesh had scored 107 runs losing 3 wickets. Mominul Haq remained not out after scoring 40 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim remained not out after scoring 6 runs.

India-Bangladesh Test Series: India leads 1-0

India is leading 1-0 in the 2-match series. In the second Test match being played at Green Park Stadium, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto was out after scoring 31 runs, he was LBW by Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin broke the fifty partnership between Shanto and Mominul Haq, which was important for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Indian bowler Akash Deep had given early blows to Bangladesh by dismissing Shadman Islam (24 runs) and Zakir Hasan (0). (India-Bangladesh Test)
