Shinde government made cow the mother of the state

Mumbai The Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra, which is announcing one populist program after another before the announcement of assembly elections, has taken a unique decision on Monday. Shinde government has given the status of Mother of State to the desi cow. This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on Monday. The grand alliance government of Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP has issued its notification. Shinde said that indigenous cows are a boon for our farmers. Therefore, we have decided to give her the status of Mother of the State.

The Chief Minister said that his government is going to implement a subsidy scheme of Rs 50 per day for rearing indigenous cows in cowsheds. The Gaushalas could not bear this expense due to their low income, hence this decision has been taken. In the notification issued by the government, it was said that the importance of desi cow in Indian culture since the Vedic period, the usefulness of desi cow milk in human diet, the importance of desi cow dung and cow urine in Ayurveda medicine, Panchgavya treatment system and organic farming systems. Considering the location, approval has been given to declare the desi cow as the mother of the state.

It is noteworthy that the Election Commission team led by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar had visited the state for two days last week. Rajiv Kumar held a press conference on Saturday, September 28 regarding preparations for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. He said that the tenure of Maharashtra Assembly is ending on 26th November. Before this the election process will be completed. The dates are expected to be announced next month.
