The by-elections for 10 assembly seats are going to have a greater impact on the politics of Uttar Pradesh than the results of the Lok Sabha elections. That’s why all the parties are preparing considering it as a mini assembly election. There is going to be a direct contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party and the politics of both will be affected by it. But Congress is also making no less preparations and Bahujan Samaj Party, which is not contesting the by-elections, is also making vigorous preparations for the elections. The elections have not been announced yet. It is believed that after October 8, when Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections will be announced, along with it, Lok Sabha by-elections will be announced for 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh and more than 30 assembly seats in some other states and Wayanad seat in Kerala.
Before the announcement of by-elections for ten seats, the Congress Party has announced that it will hold Constitution Honor Conference on all the seats. Constitution Respect Conference of Congress has been going on for some time now but every time this conference is getting stuck in some controversy or the other. Nevertheless, curiosity has arisen about its conference on 10 seats because Congress wants to contest on five of these seats, whereas Samajwadi Party is not ready to give more than one seat. SP can give one Ghaziabad seat to Congress. This time SP has to fight on more seats to show its strength. He feels that if he defeats BJP, then the ongoing dispute within BJP will increase and it is possible that the top leaders of the party i.e. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah will try to remove Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. If this happens, the situation of BJP will deteriorate and SP will benefit from it in the next assembly elections. That’s why SP is also trying its best on all the seats and Yogi Adityanath is preparing on these seats in a do or die manner.
