Israel's major attack on Lebanon

New Delhi. Israel has once again launched a major attack on Lebanon’s capital Beirut. 46 people are reported killed in this Israeli attack. It is also being reported that Israel also attacked Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut, killing 15 people. The Israeli Defense Force, or IDF, said that it had carried out an airstrike on a building in the Bint Jabal village of Lebanon on Wednesday night, killing 15 Hezbollah members. Israel has also released a video of this attack.

Israel has claimed to have killed Hassan Jaafar al-Qassir, the son-in-law of slain Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. According to international media reports, the Israeli Army carried out an airstrike in the Syrian capital Damascus on Wednesday, in which he died. Two more people have been killed along with him. The Israel Defense Forces also said that Rawahi Mushtaha, the de facto prime minister of Hamas in Gaza, has been killed in an airstrike.

Mushtaha was considered the right-hand man of Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar. He died about three months ago. But now after confirmation, IDF and Shinbet have revealed this. Mushtaha had served a jail sentence in Israel along with Sinwar. Mushtaha was considered the most senior member of the Hamas political bureau in the Gaza Strip. He was involved in many missions against Israel. The IDF said Sameh al-Siraj, who headed Hamas’ political bureau and security department, and Hamas commander Sami Oudeh were also killed.

On the other hand, Hezbollah has claimed that it has foiled an attempt by the Israeli army to enter the country through southern Lebanon. Hezbollah said that for this it fired several bombs. He told that Israel was trying to enter Lebanon through Fatima Gate. The Fatima Gate is a place in the village of Moudoud Metula on the border of Israel and Lebanon. However, no statement has been given yet by the Israeli Army.
