Shardiya Navratri 3rd Day: Shardiya Navratri, the festival of worship of Adishakti, has started. It has been 2 days since Shardiya Navratri started and it is the third day. The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Chandraghanta. By worshiping Mother Chandraghanta on this day, devotees get special results. Talking about their appearance, there is an hourglass shaped crescent moon present on their forehead, hence they are called Chandraghanta. His body is as shiny as gold and his vehicle is a lion.
Mother Chandraghanta has ten hands, in which she holds weapons like lotus, bow, arrow, sword, kamandal, sword, trident, and mace. There is a garland of white flowers around her neck and a jewel studded crown on her head. Mata Chandraghanta is in a fighting posture and controls the Manipur Chakra in Tantra Sadhana. It is believed that by worshiping him on the third day of Navratri, a person becomes courageous, valiant and fearless, and all the troubles of life go away.

Perform the puja ritual of Maa Chandraghanta like this
To worship Goddess Chandraghanta, take bath in the morning and wear clean clothes. After this, meditate and remember Mother Chandraghanta. Install the idol of Mother Goddess on red or yellow cloth. Offer Kumkum and Akshat to the Mother Goddess and start the puja as per the rituals. Yellow color has special significance to Mother Chandraghanta, hence offer yellow colored clothes to her. It is believed that Mother Chandraghanta is very fond of kheer, hence during the puja, saffron or sago kheer can be offered to her. Along with this, offering of Panchamrit is also especially important. Panchamrit is a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey and Ganges water, which symbolizes the five sacred qualities.
This Panchamrit is very dear to Mother Chandraghanta. These five substances have religious and spiritual importance. Milk is considered a symbol of purity and nourishment, so you can also offer raw milk to the mother. Mother also likes curd very much, which you can offer plain or mixed with fruits.
