September 29 was the last day of campaigning for the third and final phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir. But many leaders in Kashmir decided to mourn Nasrallah. Women and children also participated in this, who were shouting slogans against Israel. Shia organizations in Lucknow declared three days of mourning. All India Shia Personal Law Board asked all Muslims to put up black flags at their homes. Shia community leader Kalbe Jawwad described Nasrallah’s killing as martyrdom. A procession was also taken out in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, but eight people were arrested for taking out the procession without permission. Protests also took place in Sultanpur. In the capital Delhi too, on Monday, September 30, the Shia community organized a condolence meeting for Nasrallah. Organizations of Shia Muslims also held a condolence meeting in Kolkata, in which slogans were raised against Israel and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
