Congress cheated in caste equation

In Haryana, the Congress party is not only lagging behind the Congress in micro management, but also has the upper hand over the BJP in the caste equation. The caste equation of Congress was completely limited to Jat and Muslim votes. She could not even get many Dalit votes. The result is that the Congress party lost seats like Sonipat and Gohana in Bhupendra Singh Hooda’s stronghold. As the Jat vote got consolidated in the Jat stronghold, the votes of other castes got consolidated in the same proportion. Earlier it seemed that if the Jat, Dalit and Muslim votes of Congress remain united then it will go above 50 percent, out of which Congress will easily get the votes to win. Then in the exit poll results, Congress was predicted to get 43 percent votes. But the Congress got limited to around 40 per cent of the votes, the reason being that it could not get any vote other than Jats and Muslims in the entire state.

On the other hand, the social equation of BJP became very big. The move he made before the elections to make the Chief Minister from a backward caste also succeeded. Keep in mind that the backward caste population in the state is around 36 percent. In Haryana, perhaps for the first time, a leader from a backward caste became the Chief Minister, so the backward castes united and voted for the BJP. In the midst of the elections, when senior BJP leader Anil Vij had staked claim for the post of Chief Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself went to Haryana and made it clear that BJP is contesting the elections on the face of Nayab Singh Saini and if BJP wins, Saini will be the Chief Minister. Election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan went around everywhere and gave clarification and said that there is no other contender for the post of CM. If BJP wins, Saini will become CM. The result was that the backward vote completely got associated with the BJP. Apart from this, BJP also benefited from the Hindu-Muslim narrative that was created in many areas, especially in NCR and areas adjacent to Brajbhoomi.
