Pratapgarh. The car of Uttar Pradesh Government Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad met with an accident on the Pratapgarh-Rae Bareli border on Wednesday. The minister’s car collided with an escort vehicle traveling with his convoy. The minister suffered minor injuries in the accident. The incident took place in Salwan area, where the minister had to go to Pratapgarh for a meeting. After the incident, Sanjay Nishad was immediately brought to Pratapgarh Medical College. The process of his treatment is going on in the hospital. Doctors say that the minister is out of danger. His condition is said to be stable. After the accident, there was panic in the local administration. Earlier, the DM and SP of the district had come to welcome the Cabinet Minister for his program, but as soon as the information about this incident came to light, both the officers immediately reached the spot.
