Chardham Yatra 2024: The date of closure of the doors of Badrinath Dham has been announced on the occasion of Dussehra. The doors of legislative assembly will close on 17th November at 9.07 pm. This year the doors of the world famous Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter on Sunday 17th November at 9.07 pm.
Chairman of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Ajendra Ajay said that the date of closure of the doors was decided ceremoniously after Panchang calculation in the Shri Badrinath Dham temple complex today on the occasion of Vijay Dashami. He said that under the guidance of the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able leadership of the state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a large number of pilgrims came to visit the Chardham Yatra. All passenger facilities have been provided due to the efforts of the government and the temple committee.

A total of 38 lakh pilgrims reached Chardham Yatra.
So far more than 11 lakh pilgrims have reached Shri Badrinath Dham.
More than 13.5 lakh pilgrims have reached Shri Kedarnath Dham.
In this way, 24.5 lakh pilgrims have visited Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath.
A total of 38 lakh pilgrims have arrived on the Chardham Yatra.
The doors of Yamunotri Dham will be closed on Bhaiya Dooj.
The doors of the world famous Yamunotri Dham will close at 12.05 pm on 3rd November on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj. Shani Maharaj’s doli from Kharshali village will reach Yamunotri on the morning of 3rd November to take the doli of Yamuna. The doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed on 2nd November. On the occasion of Vijay Dashami in Yamunotri Dham, the pilgrim priests decided the time for closing the doors of Yamunotri Dham as per the time calendar calculations.
Purohit Mahasabha President Purushottam Uniyal said that on November 3, on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj, the doors of Yamunotri will be closed at 12.05 pm on Abhijeet Muhurta, Makar Lagna, Anuradha Nakshatra, Saubhagya Yoga. After which the carriage of Mother Yamuna will reach Kharsali under the leadership of Shani Maharaj. Till the doors are closed, devotees will be able to have darshan of Mother Yamuna in the Yamuna temple located in Kharsali.
