Stock market opens on green mark, Sensex rises 309 points

Mumbai. The Indian Stock Market opened on the green mark on Monday’s trading day. BSE Sensex is trading at 81,690.83 after rising 309 points or 0.38 per cent at 9.18 am. At the same time, NSE’s Nifty is trading at 25,062.9 after rising 98.70 points or 0.40 percent. The market trend remains positive. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), 981 shares are trading in the green, while 401 shares are trading in the red. At the same time, on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 1830 shares are trading in green and 901 shares are trading in red. Nifty Bank is at 51,357.60 after rising 185.30 points or 0.36 percent. Nifty Midcap Index is trading at 59,220.50 level after rising 7.80 points or 0.01 percent. At the same time, Nifty 100 index is at 26,132.05 after rising 77.95 points or 0.30 percent. Wipro, HDFC Bank, L&T, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, NTPC, Kotak Mahindra are the top gainers in the Sensex pack. In the list of losers, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, Nestle, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank are the top losers.

Asian markets are witnessing a boom. The markets of Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta and Seoul are trading at a brisk pace. American stock markets closed on the green mark on the previous trading day. According to market experts, “This month, till October 11, FPIs have sold equities worth Rs 58710 crore. “This massive sale has not had any serious impact on the market as the entire FPI sales have been absorbed by DIIs, who are receiving continuous fund inflows.” Last week, on the last trading day, the Indian stock market closed in the red. BSE Sensex closed at 81,381.36, down 230.05 points or 0.28 per cent. NSE’s Nifty closed at 24,964.25, down 34.20 points or 0.14 per cent.
