Doda. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday addressed a thanks rally in Doda after the victory of party candidate Mehraj Malik in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal expressed gratitude to the public on the victory of Mehraj Malik. While addressing the public meeting, CM Bhagwant Mann said that the name of Doda Assembly will be written in golden letters in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. Now the politics of honesty has started here too. The miracle that the people here have done is extraordinary. The politics of development and change is about to begin here. He said Kejriwal is not just a name, he represents an idea. He left the job of Income Tax Commissioner to work in the interest of the poor. The movement against corruption which he started at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi is now bearing fruit. He further said that Aam Aadmi Party has won with huge majority in Delhi for three consecutive times. In the year 2022, we had formed the government in Punjab with 92 out of 117 seats. We have five MLAs in Gujarat and two in Goa.
Now, we have opened our account in Jammu and Kashmir also. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is the fastest growing party in the country, becoming a national party in just 10 years. BJP is worried about the popularity of Aam Aadmi Party. CM Bhagwant Mann said that the biggest feature of Aam Aadmi Party is that common people belonging to common families become MLAs, ministers and Chief Ministers. We have no political background. He said that traditional parties like Congress and BJP have no place for common people, they give opportunity only to established leaders and their families. He insisted that he had worked in Delhi and Punjab. In both the states, people are getting free electricity, mohalla clinics are being built and the condition of government hospitals is improving. Government schools are being made world class. BJP has governments in about 20 states, but not a single state provides free electricity or good hospitals. Their only job is to instigate conflict among people.
