He said that his life is a permanent source of inspiration for all Indians. Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform X a respectful tribute to the famous scientist and former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary. His vision and thinking will be of great use to the country in achieving its resolve of a developed India. In the ex-post, Prime Minister Modi shared a video containing various photographs of himself with APJ Abdul Kalam, in which he praised Dr Kalam for accepting challenges. Prime Minister Modi said that spontaneity and simplicity were natural in Abdul Kalam. There are two types of people in this world, those who look for opportunities and those who look for challenges. Abdul Kalam was always looking for challenges. PM Modi emphasized how this characteristic defined Kalam’s life. Commenting on the unique achievements of Dr Kalam, PM Modi said that it is very rare for a person to become a “Rashtra Ratna” even before becoming the President. This honor speaks volumes about the extraordinary life and achievements of Abdul Kalam.
Sharing one of his memoirs, Prime Minister Modi (JPM Modi) said this when Dr Kalam was asked how he would like to be remembered. He simply replied, ‘I would like to be remembered as a teacher.’ PM Modi said that Kalam’s answer not only shows his deep respect for his teachers, but also highlights his unshakable faith and lifelong commitments.
