Bhopal. Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh is going to get a big gift on Sunday 20th October. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the sixth airport of the state built in Rewa district of this region. According to the information received, Prime Minister Modi will virtually inaugurate Rewa’s airport from Banaras on Sunday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be present in Rewa on this occasion. With the opening of Rewa Airport, not only will the connectivity of Vindhya region with other cities improve, but it will also open doors for economic expansion and development. Initially, 72 seater aircraft will be operated between Rewa and Bhopal.
Being the only airport in Vindhya, operations of passenger flights as well as cargo flights will be started from here soon. Due to which employment, trade and tourism will expand in the area. Rewa Airport was constructed in just one and a half years. Its foundation stone was laid on 15 February 2023, and now this airport is ready. The state currently has airports at Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Khajuraho and Jabalpur. The sixth airport of the state is going to be opened in Rewa in Vindhya region. Let it be known that Regional Industrial Conclave is being organized in Rewa on 23rd October. Rewa division commissioner BS Jamod has said that Vindhya is rich in natural resources. There are full opportunities here for setting up industries. The time has come to realize these opportunities.
On the special initiative of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, Regional Industry Conclave is being organized in Rewa on 23 October. Now a positive environment is being created for industrial investment in the Vindhya region. The Chief Minister will also interact with the industrialists of the division regarding the industrial development of the area at the venue of the inauguration ceremony of the airport on October 20. Before Rewa, Regional Industry Conclave was held in Ujjain, Jabalpur and Sagar in the state. These events have been successful and large scale investment proposals have also come.
