The day the Constitution Bench of seven judges of the Supreme Court had ruled that the Scheduled Castes are not homogeneous and that reservation can be given within the reservation to give the benefits of reservation to those who are more backward and deprived, then the Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy had said that Telangana will become the first state to implement this decision. When BJP won and formed the government, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in his very first cabinet meeting implemented the decision of classification within SC and said that out of the 20 percent reservation given to Scheduled Castes, half i.e. 10 percent will be given to those 36 castes. Those who have received the least benefits so far. After this, people of Valmiki community welcomed it by lighting lamps. Think, Haryana has also implemented it but Telangana government is still forming a committee after giving the statement.
