Bharatiya Janata Party decided its own formula for doing politics. Have decided your policies and principles. Have created a code for yourself and others. According to this, things which are prohibited for others are inevitable and sacred for BJP. According to the policy principle of BJP, exactly the opposite of what is said has to be done. That is, all the things have to be done big and idealistic, in that one should not take a stand lower than Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, but in real politics, one has to work according to Machiavelli. To say good means to say good and to do bad. A high level of hypocrisy has to be maintained in political speech and action.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in his constituency Varanasi on Sunday, October 20, he reiterated his point that familyism is a big threat to the country and democracy. To end this, he reiterated his resolve to bring one lakh youth from non-political background into politics. At the time when the Prime Minister flew in his special plane after giving this speech, the list of BJP candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections was released. Only 10 people are new in the list of 99 people. However, these people are also not from non-political background. But there are only 10 people who will contest elections for the first time. Rest all are old leaders and those with political background.
Among the women given tickets by BJP, one is the daughter of former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and the other is the wife of jailed BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad. Mumbai party president Ashish Shelar and his real brother have also been given tickets. BJP has also given ticket to the son of another former Chief Minister and sitting MP Narayan Rane. The son of a former MP, Haribhau Jawale, has also been made a candidate. The son of former Union Minister Rao Saheb Danve has been given the ticket. The party, which had pledged to bring one lakh youth into politics, was able to get tickets for only three MLAs. He repeated 89 MLAs. Overall, only sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, brothers, wives or close associates of the leaders are contesting the elections. BJP does not see any familyism in this.
A day before this, BJP announced candidates for Jharkhand assembly elections. In that the party did even more wonders. All the Chief Ministers in the history of Jharkhand, irrespective of which party they belong to, have had their family members contest the elections this time on a BJP ticket. Think, BJP has given tickets to the family members of seven Chief Ministers. Apart from the Chief Ministers, BJP has also given tickets to sons, daughters or relatives of other leaders. Similar tickets were given in Lok Sabha also. Just two-four days before this, family members of three former Chief Ministers in Haryana were made ministers in the state government. Is this the formula to promote youth from non-political background into politics?
