Kazan (Russia). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Russian city of Kazan on Tuesday to attend the 16th BRICS summit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. At various meetings taking place during the summit, BRICS leaders will be expected to exchange views on contemporary issues on the global and regional agenda, focusing on the three main areas of cooperation underlined by the Russian chairmanship – politics and security, economics and finance, cultural and humanitarian contacts.
