Maharashtra Deputy CM and NCP President Ajit Pawar has once again admitted that he made a mistake by fielding his wife Sunetra Pawar against his sister Supriya Sule in the Lok Sabha elections.
During a public meeting in Gadchiroli on Saturday (7 November), he said- One should not make the mistake of creating divisions in the family. Our society does not like fighting in the family. I have experienced this and have accepted my mistake.
Earlier, on August 13, Ajit Pawar had said in an interview to a Marathi news channel that politics should not be allowed to enter the home. The decision to field Sunetra against his sister was wrong.
Ajit said- no one can love their daughter as much as a father does While addressing the Jan Samman rally, Pawar tried to dissuade NCP leader and state minister Dharmarao Baba Atram’s daughter Bhagyashree from joining the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP). In fact, there is speculation about a possible contest between Bhagyashree from the NCP (SP) and her father from the NCP in the upcoming assembly elections.
Regarding this, Ajit said- No one can love a daughter more than her father. Atram made Bhagyashree the president of the Zilla Parishad. Now Bhagyashree is preparing to fight against her own father. Bhagyashree should support her father. She should help him win. Bhagyashree should not make a mistake. She should stay with her father. No one can love his daughter as much as a father does.
