Devendra Fadnavis filed nomination from Nagpur South-West seat.

Nagpur. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis filed his nomination from Nagpur South-West seat on Friday. During this, he also demonstrated strength by doing a road show. During the nomination, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule and candidates of Nagpur East and Nagpur South seats were present with him. Devendra Fadnavis’s wife and daughter were also present on the occasion. Before filing nomination, Fadnavis’s daughter performed his aarti. Before filing the nomination, the Deputy Chief Minister met his mother and then visited the residence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and took his blessings. After filing nomination, Devendra Fadnavis thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for giving him the ticket for the sixth time.

He said that I have full confidence that the public has blessed me five times and will make me win for the sixth time also. I am confident that once again a Grand Alliance Government will come to Maharashtra. We have taken forward the development works in Maharashtra. In such a situation, I am confident that the public will re-elect the Mahayuti government. Voting for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra is to be held in a single phase on November 20. The election results will be declared on November 23.
