Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will pay tribute today to Jawan Pradeep Patel of Katni district of Madhya Pradesh who was martyred in Sikkim. Jawan Pradeep Patel, a resident of village Hardua of Katni district, will be cremated with full state honors today. Before this, Dr Yadav posted on X that Mother India’s brave son Shri Pradeep Patel, a resident of village Hardua in Vijayraghavgarh assembly constituency of Katni district, was martyred in an army vehicle accident in Pakyong, Sikkim, whose body is being brought to his native village for last rites.
He said, ‘The martyr will be given a final farewell with state honours by giving him a Guard of Honour. I am reaching Khajuraho from Ujjain to pay my tributes. Yesterday, BJP state president and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma also met Dr Yadav and handed over a letter requesting him to give a compensation of Rs 1 crore for martyr Shri Patel, a government job to a member of the family and all the facilities given to a martyr as per rules.
