The Reserve Bank issues bank holidays every month. According to RBI, there will be no holiday across India on Ganesh Chaturthi, but banks will remain closed in many places. According to the RBI Bank Holidays Calendar, banks will remain closed in Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. However, banks will function normally in the rest of the states of the country.
