PK made the by-election interesting

Election strategist Prashant Kishore has made the by-elections on four assembly seats of Bihar interesting. He knows that this is a risky job because if his party is not able to perform well in the by-elections before the assembly elections next year, then the atmosphere will deteriorate and questions will be raised on his ability. Yet he has taken a risk and made the election interesting. The election has become triangular because of their candidates on all four seats. They are also breaking the social equation of the parties and this is causing a lot of stir in at least two seats, Belanganj and Imamganj.

Belaganj seat has become vacant after RJD leader Surendra Yadav became MP. So, RJD gave the ticket to his son. JDU fielded Manorama Devi Yadav, who is facing ED action, as its candidate. There Prashant Kishore has replaced Ahmed Hussain. Similarly, in Imamganj, the daughter-in-law of Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is the NDA candidate, while RJD has made Roshan Manjhi the candidate. PK has fielded Dr Jitendra Paswan between the two Manjhi candidates. So, there seems to be a very close triangular contest on these two seats. In Ramgarh seat too, PK has fielded Kushwaha and BSP has fielded Yadav candidate against the Rajput candidates, due to which the fight has become very tough there too. In Tarari, PK faced a setback due to change of candidate, due to which he is lagging there.
