After the Lok Sabha elections, there is maximum uneasiness regarding Muslim votes and that uneasiness is also maximum in Tejashwi Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav. Both of them feel that their Muslim vote bank is in danger due to the emergence of Congress. Muslims can go with Congress. Due to this concern, both the parties are doing anything. When SP chief Akhilesh Yadav went to Maharashtra, he declared candidates on five seats and all five were Muslims. Now SP is fighting with Congress for the tickets of those five. By-elections are being held on nine seats in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh has fielded four Muslim candidates out of nine. Now, in this uneasiness, he has included Azam Khan in the list of star campaigners. Think, Azam Khan is in jail but SP has made him a star campaigner. Azam Khan’s supporters are also angry with this. He says that Akhilesh has done this for Muslim votes.
On the other hand, in Bihar, Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav have included gangster Shahabuddin’s wife Heena Shahab and his son Osama in RJD. On the death of Shahabuddin, no member of the Lalu family attended his funeral. But in a by-election and Lok Sabha election, Heena Shahab and Osama showed their strength. Meanwhile, in the Bihar by-election, Prashant Kishore has created a new narrative by fielding a Muslim against Lalu Prasad’s Yadav candidate. They are saying that where Muslims are in majority, Lalu plays his part by fielding Yadav candidates. On top of that, two Muslim MPs of Congress won the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, whereas not a single Muslim MP of Lalu Prasad won. So, out of compulsion, Shahabuddin’s family has been wooed and included in RJD and an environment is being created for this through its social media team.
