Ranchi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah released BJP’s manifesto for Jharkhand Assembly elections. The party announced that it will contest elections in Jharkhand on the pledge of saving ‘Roti, Beti, Mati’. Apart from this, BJP’s manifesto has also announced to provide many goods and services for free if the government is formed. On the occasion of releasing the manifesto, state election in-charge Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, co-in-charge Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi were also present.
During this, Amit Shah said that voters will have to choose between the JMM government which gives protection to infiltrators and the BJP which does not allow anyone to cross the border illegally. He further said that BJP will ensure the security of ‘Mati, Beti, Roti’ of Jharkhand, which are under serious threat under the present regime. Earlier, while addressing the program, BJP leader Babulal Marandi said that whenever there was a BJP government in Jharkhand, development work has been done. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that there will be 150 resolutions in the manifesto.
There is mention of Gogo Didi scheme in the BJP manifesto, under which it is said that the government will deposit Rs 2100 in the accounts of women on the 11th of every month. Similarly, a promise has also been made to provide a cylinder for Rs 500 and two cylinders free every year. Within five years, it will create five lakh self-employment opportunities and fill more than two lakh 87 thousand vacant posts in a transparent manner. The government will also give two thousand rupees to the youth every month.
After releasing the manifesto, Amit Shah while addressing a program said – This election in Jharkhand is not only an election to change the government, but an election to secure the future of Jharkhand. The great people of Jharkhand have to decide whether they want a government steeped in corruption or a BJP government led by Modi ji moving on the path of development. He asked the people – Do we want a government that will endanger the identity, soil and women of Jharkhand by infiltration or do we want a BJP government that will protect the borders so that even birds cannot kill them?
