Patna. Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha merged into Panchatatva on Thursday at Gulbi Ghat in Patna. The last rites were performed with full state honors at around 10.30 am. Son Anshuman Sinha lit the funeral pyre. During this time, Sharda Sinha remained immortal and the chants of Jai Chhathi Maiya also kept resonating on the ghat. BJP national president JP Nadda will reach Sharda Sinha’s house in Rajendra Nagar on Thursday evening to pay tribute to her. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had written on Twitter that the last rites of late Sharda Sinha, awarded Bihar Kokila, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, will be held with state honours.
