New Delhi. The two-day national conference of the National Investigation Agency, NIA, began in Delhi. It was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. On this occasion, he said that an ecosystem to fight terrorism has now been prepared in India. Inaugurating the two-day Anti-Terrorism Conference-2024, Shah said that the Modi government has taken steps against terrorism in the last 10 years. This has created a strong ecosystem to fight terrorism.
Amit Shah said- Prime Minister Modi’s slogan of zero tolerance against terrorism has been adopted not only by India but by the entire world. He further said that this conference will enhance coordination among security agencies to strengthen the security architecture of India. In this conference, the problems faced in the action against terrorism in the last few years will be discussed. Senior police officers, special security agencies, forensic and technical experts from states and union territories are participating in this conference.
Amit Shah said in the conference- 75 years have passed since India’s independence. Till now, 36,468 policemen have been martyred to maintain the internal security of the country and the security of the borders. I would like to thank all the families of the martyrs. He said that young officers will have to be equipped with high level techniques to deal with terrorist attacks accurately. This will be made an important part of their training. Amit Shah also said that the police will have to fight the attacks on the states. However, from giving information to taking action, all the central agencies will support.
