50 flights threatened on Sunday

New Delhi. The process of threatening to bomb flights of Indian airlines is not stopping. On Sunday, 50 flights of three Indian airlines were threatened with bombs. The flights that received threats on Sunday included 18 flights of Indigo, 17 of Vistara and 15 of Akasa. In this way, in the last two weeks, more than 350 domestic and international flights have received bomb threats. However, upon investigation, all these threats were found to be false.

It is noteworthy that a day ago the Central Government has taken several steps regarding these threats. Security protocols have also been changed. The Ministry of Information and Technology also issued an advisory on October 26 warning social media platforms that if they do not immediately remove such false information, the immunity provided to them under the IT Act will be cancelled. The Ministry said that such information will have to be removed immediately and this information will also have to be given to the concerned authorities.
