Adani Group came forward to help the flood victims in Andhra Pradesh

Ahmedabad. To help the people of Andhra Pradesh, who are facing floods due to heavy rains, Adani Group on Thursday announced a help of Rs 25 crore. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani wrote in a post on social media handle X, “I am deeply saddened by the widespread damage caused by the recent torrential rains and floods in Andhra Pradesh. In this difficult situation, Adani Group stands strongly with the people of Andhra Pradesh. We humbly contribute Rs 25 crore for relief through Adani Foundation.”

Along with this, a photo was posted by Gautam Adani, in which Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ, is seen providing assistance to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Reposting Gautam Adani’s post, Karan Adani wrote, “Got a chance to contribute to the relief operation being led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Our heart is with those who are rebuilding their lives and livelihoods. Let us tell you that heavy rains caused severe floods in Andhra Pradesh. However, now the water has receded. The affected people have been shifted to relief camps.

Indian armed forces have also been deployed to provide relief to people in flood-affected areas. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has also announced a relief package for flood victims. The Chief Minister has also met the flood-affected people and assured them of help. In view of the floods, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also recently visited Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The report of the damage caused by this flood was submitted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
