After Anil Antony, it is Chandy Oommen's turn

Everything is not looking good for Congress in Kerala. Even after winning all the seats in Kerala for the second time in a row in the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress-led alliance UDF is under pressure. Especially the Congress party. On one hand, after Rahul Gandhi’s resignation from Wayanad seat, Congress leaders have come on the back foot and on the other hand, there are reports of Congress leaders getting closer to BJP, which has increased the stir. It is being told that Chandy Oommen, son of late Oommen Chandy, who was the Chief Minister of Kerala, is getting closer to BJP these days.

It is worth mentioning that Chandy Oommen is a lawyer and recently his name was included in the panel of lawyers of NHAI, which comes under the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. However, there was immediate protest against this. Many leaders of Kerala BJP raised questions on this. Congress leaders also objected and contacted Chandy Oommen and asked if he had given his name for the panel. Later, due to the protest of BJP leaders, the panel itself was cancelled. But many kinds of political discussions have started. It is being said that the children of the two leaders who were given the most importance and all the posts by the Congress party in Kerala are distancing themselves from the Congress. First AK Antony’s son Anil Antony left the Congress and joined the BJP and became its national secretary and now Oommen Chandy’s son Chandy Oommen is getting closer to the BJP.
