Mumbai After declaring the candidates of BJP and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena, now Ajit Pawar’s party NCP has also released the first list of candidates. Ajit Pawar’s party has released the list of 38 candidates, in which Ajit Pawar himself is also named. He will contest from Baramati assembly seat. He had already announced this. This seat comes under Baramati Lok Sabha. It has been the traditional seat of Sharad Pawar, from where his daughter Supriya Sule is the MP. Supriya had defeated Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra Pawar in the Lok Sabha elections.
However, the seat distribution of the ruling alliance Mahayuti was finalized a few days ago, under which Ajit Pawar’s party is reported to be getting 50 seats. Before Ajit Pawar, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena released the first list of 45 candidates late on Tuesday night. Mahayuti has announced 182 names so far. This includes names of 99 candidates from BJP, 45 from Shiv Sena and 38 from Ajit group.
