Congress party also goes to extremes. There were elections in Haryana now so no one was sent there. Left everything in the trust of Deepak Babaria. Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Deepak Babaria, as National General Secretary, were doing everything in the state. Rahul Gandhi also worked relatively less and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was fielded only in the last two days. But after losing there, Congress has now sent all its senior leaders to Maharashtra. Although all these leaders have been tried at different places and everyone knows that those who have been sent will not land anywhere except sitting in hotels and meeting the leaders, yet Congress has sent them all to Maharashtra. .
Congress has appointed separate observers for all the six regions of Maharashtra namely Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, North Maharashtra, Konkan, Vidarbha and Mumbai. Three have been sent to former Chief Ministers. Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel and Charanjit Singh Channi have been made observers. Apart from these, Karnataka government minister and prominent Dalit leader G Parameshwara, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot, former Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh TS Singhdev, Congress Legislature Party leader in Madhya Pradesh Umang Singhar, former Telangana State President Uttam Reddy, Karnataka Big leaders like MB Patil, Rajya Sabha MP Syed Nasir Hussain have been sent to Maharashtra. BJP also sends observers or in-charges to every area. But it does not send big leaders. The election observer is certainly a big leader, but after that, people are sent to different areas, who should work on the ground and live among the people. Out of all the people that Congress has sent, only a few leaders will go on the ground and stay among the people. The rest will watch the management from the hotel room or sitting in Delhi.
