Chandigarh. The meeting of newly elected MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana will be held on October 16. The party has called a meeting of the legislature party in Chandigarh on October 16. The leader of the legislative party will be elected in the meeting. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend this meeting as a central observer. Along with him, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has also been made an observer. It is certain that Caretaker Chief Minister Nayab Saini will be elected as the leader of the legislative party in the meeting. After this they will stake claim to form the government before the Governor. He will take oath on October 17.

BJP state president Mohan Lal Baroli has asked all the MLAs to be present in Chandigarh on 16 and 17 October. Arrangements have been made for all the MLAs to stay in the MLA Hostel. The new Chief Minister will take oath on October 17 at the Parade Ground in Panchkula. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states will also participate.

Amid preparations for the swearing-in, Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter BJP MLA Shruti Chaudhary met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in Delhi. It is being told that Kiran Chaudhary is lobbying to make her daughter the Deputy Chief Minister from Jat quota. She left Congress and joined BJP just a few days ago.
