New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has got back the bungalow at 6, Flag Staff Road. Two days ago, Delhi’s Public Works Department (PWD) had vacated this bungalow from him. PWD had said that when Arvind Kejriwal vacated the bungalow, Atishi went to live in it without completing the allotment process. However, after this dispute, Atishi was given the same bungalow which was vacated. It has been said that after the completion of the process, he has been allotted a bungalow.
Earlier on Wednesday, the CM residence at 6, Flag Staff Road was sealed. PWD had also taken out Atishi’s belongings. Actually, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had vacated the house on October 4. After that Atishi came to live in it. PWD officials reached the CM residence at 11.30 am on Wednesday and said that the rules were not followed in handing over the house. On this basis, they took the keys, kept the Chief Minister’s belongings outside and sealed the bungalow.
Regarding this, the Chief Minister’s Office had said – For the first time in history, a Chief Minister has been asked to vacate his house. At the behest of BJP, the Lieutenant Governor forcefully took out the belongings of Chief Minister Atishi from the house. Preparations are being made to give this CM residence to a big BJP leader. BJP has been out of the government in Delhi for 27 years, now it wants to grab the CM residence. On the other hand, BJP had said that many secrets of Arvind Kejriwal are hidden in this Sheeshmahal.
